Big Baby breaks foot, out for the season

Glen Davis was supposed to return to Boston on Friday to face his former team. Those plans changed, though, on Wednesday when he suffered a broken left foot playing against the New York Knicks.
According to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, Davis is returning to Orlando for further examination to determine if he will need surgery.
Davis played his first four seasons with the Celtics before being traded to the Magic in 2011. His childhood friend Brandon Bass, who he was swapped with in the trade, had been looking forward to going against Davis.
"Absolutely," Bass said following the Celtics win over the Kings. "When we go against each other one-on-one, it's a good feeling just to know that someone else made it from your hometown when we had the same dream back in those days. It feels good to play each other and I'm happy for him."
Davis is averaging 15.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in 32.1 minutes per game this season.
