20 Under 25 Candidates: Kelyn Rowe

Share

In 2015, the Revolution had arguably the deepest and most talented midfield in MLS. Kelyn Rowe  was constantly battling with Diego Fagundez, Juan Agudelo and Teal Bunbury for playing time. In 2015, Rowe started 22 of the 35 games but appeared in 34. His ability to change a game off the bench was critical this year; in fact, he scored three of his seven goals coming in as a super sub. Rowe’s ability to hit long-range shots, play out of tight spots and defend well make him a formidable player in this league. With Jermaine Jones' future with the club uncertain, Rowe could find himself playing more centrally next year and be relied on more to create and lead this Revs team. Regardless of role, Rowe has proven he can help this team in a number of ways.
