The Patriots are 3-0 but they've done it without any semblance of their normal offensive dominance.
The return of a healthy Rob Gronkowski would go a long way to restoring order (and points) on the offensive side of the ball.
Andy Hart predicts Gronk will suit up on Sunday night for a prime time showdown with the Falcons.
"I think Gronk has just been a natural progression," says Hart. "Look at what he's done. He's practiced all year, and then he was upgraded from doubtful to questionable."
Paul Perillo adds that if Gronkowski does not play on Sunday, it will begin to look like the Patriots made a mistake by not placing him on the PUP list.
Lou Merloni raises the possibility that maybe the Patriots use a snap limit for Gronkowski and only deploy him in red zone situations.
If that were to be the approach, however, and the Patriots find themselves in a tight game in the third or fourth quarter, it might be difficult not to just rip up the rules and roll with Gronk the rest of the game.
