Volin: If Brady was innocent, you would think he'd say something

While Deflategate has played itself out over the past few weeks, nobody has been more silent than quarterback Tom Brady.

The team held OTAs Friday and Brady also held his Best Buddies charity game at Harvard Stadium, and Brady spoke at neither event.

"I had a one percent chance that maybe after practice he’d finally ay something," said Ben Volin of the Boston Globe. "But I think anybody who’s been following this story knew he wouldn’t talk. The Best Buddies event tonight at Harvard, great event not the time to be talking about the suspension and everything. Not a whole lot to be gained right now. But if he were truly innocent, wouldn’t he throw out something harmless?"
