The Patriots made a few roster moves on Monday, one day before re-taking the field for training camp practice Tuesday afternoon.

The team announced that it added a little depth to its offensive line, claiming veteran guard Harland Gunn off of waivers. The 6-foot-2, 310-pound 25-year-old is a former member of the Falcons who played in 13 games for Atlanta over the course of the last two seasons. Gunn entered the league as an undrafted rookie out of the University of Miami in 2012.

The additional healthy body on the line should benefit New England, as it announced that it released offensive lineman Kevin Hughes, who left Saturday's practice early due to an apparent injury. The Patriots also announced the release of undrafted rookie defensive lineman Vince Taylor, who began training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

According to agent Brett Tessler, linebacker Cameron Gordon has also been added to the Patriots roster. Gordon was signed by the Patriots last season as an undrafted rookie out of Michigan, and spent the year on injured reserve. He was released back in May.
