Michael Felger says Michael Lombardi doesn't add much to what the Patriots have in the personnel department.

With multiple reports saying fired Browns general manager Michael Lombardi is joining the Patriots front office, Michael Felger, on Arbella Early Edition, wonders what the attraction is?

"Another Belichick bobo," Felger said of Lombardi, who worked with Belichick when the Patriots coach was the Browns coach from 1991-95. "Why should we feel good about this? I don't think he's going to hurt you. I don't think he's going to help you. Another guy to go get Belichick's dry cleaning I guess."

Felger said Patriots staff "seems to fall into two camps. They're either kids or bobos."

Perhaps Belichick is lessening his workload by bringing in Lombardi?

"If he should give [more work] to anyone, give it to [director of player personnel] Nick Caserio," Felger said. "My sarcasm aside, I think they've done a decent job with the draft. If Nick Caserio is the guy behind that, then give it to Nick Caserio. Don't give it to another guy from Cleveland in the mid 90s."
