Over the past few years many have wondered if Tom Brady and the Patriots offense have enough weapons.
Even after adding a few new pieces, the curiosity remains.
On Sports Sunday, Mike Flynn pointed out a few questions the Patriots offense has.
"In a positive point of view you have Julian Edelman now and you know he can make plays for you," said Flynn. "Now you have Gronkowski who was a huge question mark last year. But other than that you're really in the same boat. It's a lot of ifs. If Amendola stays healthy. If Dobson takes a jump… If Boyce. If Thompkins. If. There's a lot of ifs with this offense."
Albert Breer is less concerned with the weapons and more concerned with how players fit into the system.
"I think it actually relates more with style of play, " said Breer. "If Stevan Ridley comes back, fixes his fumbling problem, rushes for 1500 yards they go for 2000 as a team and they're winning games with their defense Then you don't need Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola to be All-Pro.
He also believes there should be more focus on the offensive line.
"For the first time in a long time they've made enormous investments at the two tackle spots," continued Breer. "Nate Solder's a first round pick, Sebastian Vollmer got a second contract. They made investments on the offensive line. I think that if you look at the way the team is constructed, they look a little bit different."
