Fresh off their stinging overtime loss to the Jets, things don't figure to get any easier for the Patriots this week when they host Miami.
Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran shares his three keys to Sunday's showdown with the fish.
First Key - Ryan Tannehill
After a promising start, the Dolphins quarterback has had a rough go of it over the last two weeks. Tannehill has been sacked eight times over the last two weeks, six times by the Ravens alone. In each of his last two games, Tannehill has finished with a completion percentage around 60%.
The depleted Patriots defense will need to take advantage of Tannehill's struggles and make him uncomfortable.
Second Key - Cameron Wake
Curran calls Wake "one of the most disruptive pass rushers in all of football."
That's bad news for a Patriots offensive line that allowed frequent pressure on Tom Brady last week against the Jets.
Sebastian Vollmer figures to match up with Wake and his performance may dictate whether Brady is able to remain upright.
Third Key - Dolphins Receivers
The Dolphins made a big splash (no pun intended) in the offseason when they brought in Mike Wallace to headline their receiving corps.
But Wallace is far from the only threat the Patriots will need to worry about on Sunday.
Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson will also cause serious problems for a Patriots linebacker and secondary group that suffered major gaps in coverage against the Jets.
EDITOR'S NOTE: The first version of this story incorrectly stated that the game would be played in Miami.
