Saturday's Red Sox-Tigers lineups: Flu again keeps Hanley, Mookie out

The flu continues to take its toll on the Red Sox. Mookie Betts and Hanley Ramirez are still sick and again out, and with Xander Bogaerts on bereavement leave, it's again a makeshift lineup for Game 2 of their four-game series in Detroit on Saturday afternoon (1:10 p.m.)

Reliever Joe Kelly, who walked in the winning run in the Tigers 6-5 victory on Friday, is the newest addition to the flu brigade. He is not at Comerica Park Saturday. It's so bad that some members of the Red Sox training staff were wearing surgical masks in the clubhouse, reports The Boston Herald's Michael Silverman.

As for the lineup, Brock Holt is again the DH and leadoff hitter, Pablo Sandoval moves up to the fifth spot and Christian Vazquez gets the start behind the plate, catching left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez in his first start.

Right-hander Jordan Zimmerman pitches for the Tigers. The full lineups:
