Xander Bogaerts and Jackie Bradley have had their struggles throughout the season.
Which player has been a bigger disappointment for the team?
John Tomase of the Boston Herald joined Arbella Early Edition to give his take.
"To me, it's Bradley," said Tomase. "I know Bogaerts has been historically bad the last month, but he had two solid months leading into that. Bradley hasn't given you anything offensively until the last week. His defense has been tremendous, but this team needs hitting."
"When you consider that the reason why Jacoby Ellsbury was allowed to walk, was because you had Jackie Bradley ready to replace him, and he hasn't been able to do the job."
Chris Gasper is more disappointed in Xander Bogaerts' performance.
"We had questions about Bradley's bat coming into the season," said Gasper. "They needed [Bogaerts] to have an impact like a Mike Trout or a Manny Machado. Maybe that's not fair, but that was the way it was billed. I think he was the bigger disappointment."
