Louis Corbett, a 12-year-old from Auckland, New Zealand, has a rare eye disorder that over time will cause him to lose sight. His parents told him to make a wish list of things he would like to see before that happens.

Louis' No. 1 wish was to see the Celtics in person. That happened on Wednesday night when Louis and his family sat courtside for the Warriors-C's game at TD Garden.

It all came about after Celtics fans heard of Louis story and took to Twitter to inform the team about it. Arrangements were quickly made to bring Louis and his family over from New Zealand for an unforgettable visit to the US.

And how did a kid from New Zealand become a Celtics fan?

"First of all, it was Larry Bird because I heard about him on TV," Louis said.

Louis was introduced at center court and got a standing ovation from the Garden crowd.

"It's been pretty great so far," Louis told CSNNE Celtics sideline reporter Abby Chin of his visit. "I'm going to New York after this. And then to Niagara Falls and off to Los Angeles and Vegas."
