Another game, another lineup change for the Celtics.

Prior to Boston's game against San Antonio on Wednesday night, coach Brad Stevens announced that the Celtics would unveil yet another new lineup.

Jordan Crawford and Avery Bradley will remain in the backcourt, with Jeff Green at small forward.

Joining them with the first unit will be Kelly Olynyk and Jared Sullinger.

For Sullinger, tonight will be his first start of the season. As a rookie last season, he appeared in 45 games with five starts prior to undergoing season-ending back surgery.

Stevens, whose team was still smarting from a 109-85 loss at Houston on Tuesday, said the lineup change was to take a closer look at two of the team's promising young bigs to see how they would perform together as starters.

"It's not like Vitor [Faverani] or [Brandon] Bass are the reason we're in the predicament we're in," Stevens told reporters prior to tip-off. "But I think that, I go back to this, we've played well with Sullinger and Olynyk. We'll see what happens."

He added, "The bottom line is, when you're tweaking or changing midstream, you hope to give it enough of a sample size to see if it works."

This will be the Celtics' fourth different starting lineup this season and in all likelihood, won't be the final lineup change made this season.

"It was the right thing to do," Stevens said about the change. "But I don't know if we're done tweaking."
