New team, new sneakers.
ANTA endorser Kevin Garnett returned to Asia for a promotional whirlwind to meet with fans and highlight the release of his new basketball shoe, the KG IV.
This season the former Boston Celtic and new member of the Brooklyn Nets will swap out his green-themed kicks for a black and white sneaker to match the squad’s colors.
Now on to the details for all the sneakerheads. A close up of Garnett’s eyes will be placed above his last name on the tongue of the shoe. On the back of the sneaker, the “KG” logo will be printed and the word “four” will be seen on the straps to represent the fourth generation of Garnett’s basketball shoes.
The KG IV features Super Flexi technology and a molded collar to provide stability and help prevent foot and ankle injuries. There is also thickened Phylon for comfort and vents for breathability.
“I hope that I can inspire more teenagers to love basketball, and also hope everyone can afford my KG IV,” Garnett said in an ANTA statement.
The release of the shoe was part of ANTA’s basketball campaign, “Power is Priceless.”
