As hard as the Celtics may have tried to make a deal on draft night, they ended up staying pat and taking four players.
While other general managers in Boston have been shredded over the past year, Michael Felger wonders why no one is questioning Danny Ainge.
"He has this reputation of being bold, a risk taker and all this. I haven't seen that the last couple of years. It seems like they're just standing pat," said Felger. "All I know is you can't second-guess the guy. One title in twelve years. Of the twelve years he's been GM, in eight of those twelve years they have either been one-and-done or out of the playoffs. You have truly contended in only three of his twelve years. But he doesn't get half the crap Bill Belichick gets, who was won four Super Bowls for God sakes."
