Jared Sullinger will be in familiar surroundings at All-Star weekend in New Orleans.
In addition to participating on the same team with fellow Celtic Kelly Olynyk at the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge on Feb. 14, he will also be playing with Utah's Trey Burke, a former high school teammate.
The two teams of rookies and second-year NBA players were selected Thursday night by TNT analysts Grant Hill and Chris Webber.
"I've been going against him the last couple of years," Sullinger said of Burke prior to being selected to play for "Team Webber."
Sullinger added, "I wouldn't mind being on the same team as him."
In addition to Burke, other members of Team Webber include New Orleans' Anthony Davis; Philadelphia's Michael Carter-Williams; Tim Hardaway Jr. of New York; Brooklyn's Mason Plumlee; Orlando's Victor Oladipo; and Oklahoma City's Steven Adams.
Team Hill features Damian Lillard of Portland; Washington's Bradley Beal; Detroit's Andre Drummond; Harrison Barnes of Golden State; Terrence Jones of Houston; Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee; Jonas Valanciunas of Toronto; Cleveland's Dion Waiters and Atlanta's Pero Antic.
