Paille returns to practice; Seidenberg skates with B's

BOSTON -- The Bruins welcomed some players back to the fold on Tuesday, and others were missing from the ice as the team resumed practice prior to their second-round series against the Montreal Canadiens.

Dennis Seidenberg was skating with the rest of the team, but didn’t take part in any of the heavy contact battle drills at the end of the skating session at TD Garden. Seidenberg is nearly four months removed from surgery to repair his torn ACL/MCL suffered a couple of days after Christmas.

Daniel Paille did return to the contact drills while skating in Brad Marchand’s spot on the second line alongside Patrice Bergeron and Reilly Smith. Marchand was absent from the ice  after going scoreless in the five game series against the Detroit Red Wings. Paille missed all five games against Detroit with an upper body injury believed to be a concussion suffered after a bit hit from Jake McCabe in the final weekend of the regular season.

Otherwise all players were present and accounted for as the Bruins get ready for the series to begin toward the end of this week. Here are the line combos and D-pairings based on the Tuesday morning practice:
