Have you ever wanted to skate on the TD Garden ice or take a ride on the Zamboni wheeled out between periods at Bruins games?
The Bruins will host their annual “Slice the Ice” event to benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation on Sunday, Dec. 1, and all of that and more will be possible for Bruins fans.
“Slice the Ice” will take place across that first Sunday in December for four-hour and a half sessions starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m. At the event, fans will have the opportunity to skate on the TD Garden ice, take pictures on the Bruins bench and at the Bruins net or penalty box, and with the Zamboni® ice resurfacing machine. Fans will then be taken on a tour of the newly-refurbished and decorated Bruins dressing room followed by a photo op with the 2011 Stanley Cup banner.
Fans are encouraged to use this event to stage a unique and memorable family holiday photo, or just take a peek behind the scenes of their favorite Original Six, Black-and-Gold hockey team.
Who could I possibly be talking about?
