Charlie Davies is back in the MLS.
Davies will join the New England Revolution on a six-month loan for the remainder of the season, according to a report.
Davies, 27, played with D.C. United in 2011 before he spent time with Danish club Randers. The forward is originally from New Hampshire and played at Boston College, so he will be around familiar territory with the Revs.
Davies played with the U.S. men's national team, but was unable to compete in the 2010 World Cup after he sustained several broken bones, including a fractured right femur and tibia, in a 2009 car accident.
After more than a year of rehabilitation, Davies returned and played with D.C. United in 2011, scoring 11 goals in 26 games.
