David Ortiz openly expressed his displeasure with teammate Ryan Dempster beaning Alex Rodriguez in last Sunday night's game between the Red Sox and Yankees.

While most of the Red Sox media and fans probably weren't too fond of Ortiz's comments, The Boston Globe's Bob Ryan had no problem with it.

Ryan joined Greg Dickerson and Bob Neumeier on "Uno's Sports Tonight" to discuss the situation, and showed concern about any ramifications that could come as a result.

"What are the dire ramifications for Ryan Dempster from here on out? Is he going to try to pitch poorly? Can he pitch any worse? He's gonna try to get guys out, he's gonna try to do his job," Ryan said. "I see no negative ramification from this in terms of Dempster."
