FOXBORO -- Sebastian Vollmer was back at practice Friday.
The starting left tackle hasn't seen the field since suffering a foot injury in New England's Week 3 win over Tampa Bay. Though his presence at the week's final workout means he could play in Atlanta on Sunday, it's also possible Vollmer is just getting a head start on a Week 5 return. Tonight's practice and participation report, released around 4 p.m., will declare his game status.
The only other player New England missed was special teams Matthew Slater, who's nursing a broken wrist.
The Patriots practiced in shells on the upper fields behind Gillette.
