Heading into the final seven games of the season, the New England Patriots will still be looking for players to step up in the absence of others.
Tom E. Curran and Mary Paoletti on Quick Slants took to social media to see which under the radar players need to step up for the Patriots.
“The Patriots with all their injuries, the offensive line has remained intact,” said Paoletti when a fan said Marcus Cannon needs to step up in the absence of Sebastian Vollmer. “Even after Dan Connolly got hurt, he never missed a start. This is going to be a whole new challenge for them.”
Another fan believed Chris Jones and Joe Vellano needed to step up in the run game.
“I think they have been exposed a little bit early on and tested,” Curran said. “But I think they have done about all they could.”
