FOXBORO -- Rex Ryan admitted on Wednesday that he will talk to his brother Rob Ryan before his Jets take on the Patriots on Sunday.

But Rob -- the New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator -- might not be able to tell Rex much more than he already knows, especially since they both watched Tom Brady do the same thing last Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

Brady got the ball back at his own 30-yard line against the Saints, down four, with 1:13 left to play in the game. He finished a game-winning 70-yard drive with a 17-yard touchdown pass to Kenbrell Thompkins in the back-left corner of the end zone, leading New England to a dramatic 30-27 win over New Orleans.

Rex watched, and felt his brother Rob's pain.

"We pretty much know each other anyway. I know the Patriots well. They know us," said Rex in a conference call on Wednesday. "But absolutely, I'll talk to him, for sure, about it.

"Shoot, I'll be honest. I watched that game, and I was like, 'Oh man, you've got to be kidding me.' But again, those things happen. That's Tom Brady."

Ryan continued to praise Brady, but he also acknowledged that they're plan will be to mix up their coverages against him.

"Him and Peyton Manning, I've said it from day one, are the best two I've ever gone against," said Ryan. "They were when I came in tot he league many years ago. And as a defensive coordinator, they remain that way. Certainly, we throw everything at him, and see what happens.

"But we're not just going to stand and play one or two coverages and let him pick us apart like he does a lot of people," he added. "You can't just sit back there and take it from him, that's for sure."
