Odin Lloyd’s body was not dumped at the North Attleboro industrial park near Aaron Hernandez’ home. According to “one law enforcement official” speaking to the Boston Globe, Lloyd “was killed where they found the body.”
The official also told the Globe that Lloyd “was shot multiple times.”
The cascade of information from anonymous sources has come steadily since Tuesday. But most armchair criminologists have surmised that Lloyd was murdered elsewhere and then his body was left in the industrial park.
This would indicate a different set of circumstances and will not jive with other details shared anonymously.
For instance, on Thursday, FOX 25 reported that a neighbor on Hernandez’ street heard gunshots between 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Monday. That would mean the neighbor was mistaken, unless the report from the shots was audible on Hernandez’ street. Which it could have been, since the area is nearby.
Meanwhile, the initial report on the discovery of Lloyd’s body noted a car rented to Hernandez was found near the scene of Lloyd’s death. Further, there have been reports that the tire tracks at the scene match those of the vehicle rented to Hernandez.
At some point, the police evidence in the case will all be laid out for everyone to see. And that may be in a courtroom with Aaron Hernandez in attendance.
