Heading to Foxboro to trade in your Aaron Hernandez jersey this weekend?
You may need more than just a new jersey to update your Sunday wardrobe. The Patriots have released their new team logo, replacing the ‘Patriots’ written in cursive, navy blue font with the flying Elvis wrapped around the ‘P’.
The new logo will be ‘Patriots’ written in a bold, navy-blue font, with the flying Elvis beneath the writing.
It’s the first logo change the team has made since 2000, when the font color on the logo was changed from royal blue to navy blue.
The Pats saw unprecedented success with their previous logo, winning all three of the franchise’s Super Bowls (2001, 2003, 2004) while appearing in two others (2007, 2011), and making the playoffs every year except 2000, 2002, and 2008.
So what do you think about the new logo?
