It feels like ages since names like Rodney Harrison, Ty Law, or Lawyer Milloy made up a Patriots secondary that anchored one of the best defensive units the NFL had to offer.
In recent years, names ranging from Sergio Brown to Darius Butler to Terrence Wheatley to Jonathan Wilhite have been the root of all frustration among Patriot fans. But with the addition of veteran safety Adrian Wilson, and the return of Aqib Talib, Alfonzo Dennard, and Devin McCourty, there is new hope for the New England defensive backfield.
“I think the continuity is going to make all the difference in the world,” said CSNNE.com Patriots insider Tom E. Curran. “I think this secondary has had the opportunity to work together at the end of last year, through the offseason into this year.”
