FOXBORO -- It was unseasonably warm when the Patriots took to the lower grass fields Friday. The team held a shells session in the 53-degree weather.
Safety Steve Gregory, who broke a thumb against Pittsburgh November 3, was the only player not spotted. Gregory's continued absence puts his status in doubt for New England's Monday night game in Carolina.
That information will not be revealed this evening, as is usual. The primetime game moves New England's schedule one day to the right, so there will be another practice this week, on Saturday.
