The New England Patriots have announced that Patrick Chung, Brandon Spikes, Sebastian Vollmer, Shane Vereen and Deion Branch will be inactive for Sunday's game vs. Denver.
The team has also announced the signing of safety Ross Ventrone to the 53-man roster.
Ventrone has played in six games for the Patriots. He has bounced back and forth between the Patriots and the practice squad all season long.
