The Doc Rivers speculation has continued to spin out of control, with the latest report saying that Rivers and the Clippers have mutual interest.

On UNO Sports Tonight, Gary Tanguay discussed the latest rumor with Greg Dickerson. While Tanguay said he would be disappointed if Rivers chose to coach another team after stringing the Celtics along, Dickerson argued that Rivers ultimately has the right to change his mind. Dickerson noted that Rivers has been through a rebuild already in Boston.

While Rivers has the right to pick and choose where he wants to coach, he is still under contract with the Celtics. Danny Ainge is unlikely to let teams speak with Rivers, but may be willing to part ways with the coach if Boston could get something in return.
