On "Uno Sports Tonight," hosts Gary Tanguay and Lou Merloni discuss this current Bruins team with the Boston Globe's Dan Shaugnessy and Kevin Paul Dupont. They ask how the B's ultimate team effort compares to some of Boston's other recent teams, including the Patriots first Super Bowl winner.

Tanguay said these Bruins are more like the Patriots' second or third championship teams. "They've solidified themselves as a legitimate contending organization," he said. Just as those Pats' teams did.
Dupont said that was a favorable comparison.
"Let's remember where they were before [Bruins general manager] Peter Chiarelli got here," Dupont said. "That's analogous to the old [pre-championship] Patriots.
