BOSTON – Brad Marchand returned to Bruins practice on Wednesday, and the forward/defenseman groups gained a little clarity just a day before the Bruins and Canadiens will drop the puck for Game 1 Thursday night at TD Garden. It would appear that whatever kept the Nose Face Killah out of Tuesday’s practice was merely a maintenance issue.
Daniel Paille was wearing his customary Merlot practice sweater while skating with Shawn Thornton and Gregory Campbell, and it appears that Justin Florek will remain in the lineup in place of the injured Chris Kelly.
