WILMINGTON -- The Bruins are back to work this morning at Ristuccia Arena after their successful Western Canada road trip, and both Shawn Thornton and Adam McQuaid are back on the ice for the Bruins. Thornton is currently in the middle of serving a 15-game suspension for his attack on Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik, and McQuaid has just returned from a lower-body injury that kept out for the entire four-game trip.

Thornton is meeting with NHLPA officials and attorneys today to decide whether or not he will appeal his 15-game suspension with the league. The expectation is that he will appeal.

Jarome Iginla is the only player missing who was expected to be on the practice. One has to assume his absence is connected to the left finger he injured in a Saturday night fight with Vancouver Canucks center Ryan Kesler.
