BOSTON -- The sight of Bruins coach Claude Julien out on the TD Garden ice Tuesday afternoon was the truest sign yet that the Black and Gold were back to work.

Patrice Bergeron, Loui Eriksson and Tuukka Rask were all still absent from the rare 1:30 p.m. practice, and both Matthew Lindblad and Niklas Svedberg continued to fill in from Providence. The majority of the practice was skating, and power play work in the second half of the 45-minute session prior to jetting off to Buffalo for Wednesday night’s tilt at the First Niagara Center.

All three B’s Olympic medalists are thought to be in Boston, and should be making the road trip to Buffalo with the team this afternoon.

Carl Soderberg was bumped up to the second line with Brad Marchand and Reilly Smith for practice, and Lindblad filled into Eriksson’s spot on the third line with Jordan Caron and Chris Kelly.

Here are the forward combos and D-pairings based on Tuesday’s practice:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla
Marchand-Soderberg-Smith
Lindblad-Kelly-Caron
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Hamilton
Bartkowski-Boychuk
Krug-McQuaid/Miller

Johnson
Svedberg
