Gary Tanguay and Michael Felger sit down on Uno Sports Tonight to give out the Sporty Award for 2013 Moment of the Year.
The first candidate is David Ortiz's ALCS grand slam, which rallied the Red Sox from a seemingly insurmountable deficit and set them on a course to defeat the Tigers and go on to beat the Cardinals in the World Series.
The second candidate is the incredibly emotional national anthem at TD Garden after the Boston Marathon bombings, in which Rene Rancourt stopped singing and allowed the Garden crowd to sing the anthem a capella.
The debate comes down to the emotion of the Garden performance vs. the fact that Ortiz's slam ultimately led to a World Championship.
