Prior to the start of the offseason it was understood around these parts that the Red Sox probably weren't going to make any major moves.
At first, people were on board. Then, some started to wonder if they should do something -- anything. Well, Boston has made some moves. They resigned David Ortiz for starters, then they signed -- or are still trying to sign -- Mike Napoli. Shane Victorino was next. And most recently, Ryan Dempster.
None of these moves are major, but could that be a good thing? Josh Hamilton got five years at 125 million and Anibal Sanchez got five years at 80 million. That's a lot of money for players who are far from sure things.
That leads us to our UNO's Sports Tonight Question of the Day:
In wake of the Josh Hamilton and Anibal Sanchez signings, are you content with the Red Sox' short-term approach this offseason?
