Tomase: Bad message not punishing Miley after outburst

After starting pitcher Wade Miley's outburst, there won't be any punishment and he'll make his next start.

WEEI.com's John Tomase says it's a bad message no punishing Miley.

"Your breath is saying it's unacceptable, but your actions are saying it's acceptable," Tomase said.

"This was unacceptable last night and I don't know why it couldn't have been said last night, but at least it was said today.

"I don't necessarily sense there is a fear you'd like to see. I don't know if guys are afraid right now, but to me thats a red herring. The issue is not the manager, just like it wasn't the pitching coach when they fired Juan Nieves, it's the players playing horribly."
