Ryan Kalish vs Josh Reddick

Josh Reddick is having a phenomenal season for the Oakland Athletics. Red Sox fans are all asking themselves "why can't we have good players like that?"

These fans are scratching their heads wondering why the Sox traded Reddick instead of Ryan Kalish in the deal. Dan Shaughnessy and the Baseball Show crew think hindsight is 2020, and the Red Sox would probably do it again if given the chance.

"This is a really interesting question, and it is a real hindsight thing." said Dan Shaughnessy "They like Kalish a lot more than Reddick as of the day that trade was made last year. It wasn't even close within the organization. In terms of future, possibilities, what kind of player this guy is going to be. They just didn't see the Reddick (success) coming. We still don't know where it's going, but it's going good this year."
