Hollis-Jefferson: Celtics need ‘one more piece'

At the pre-draft camp in Chicago, former Arizona forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who could be on the Celtics draft radar, talked about what he would bring to the NBA.

"If a team needs me to do someting, I'm that guy that will do it," he said. "Dive on the floor for loose balls, get a stop, a fastbreak layup. I think I'm that dude that can bring that energy and do what the team needs."

Hollis-Jefferson, 20, a 6-7, 210-pound small forward, averaged 11.2 points on 50 percent shooting, 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in helping Arizona reach the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament before losing to Wisconsin. He was scheduled to meet with the Celtics on Friday and said he's watched the Celtics this past season. Boston has the 16th and 28th picks in the first round of the June 26 draft.

"I know Evan Turner, [Marcus] Smart those guys. I've seen them play," he said. "I think they're a good program. I think they need one more piece."

So, is he that piece?

"Definitely possible," he said.
