World Series ring, trophy stolen from Derek Lowe

Derek Lowe's 2004 World Series ring and trophy have been stolen from his home, according theLee County Sheriff's office.

A housekeeper told authorities Friday someone had broken into Lowe's Florida home and stole the ring, trophy and some jewelry.

Lowe earned the ring as a member of the 2004 Red Sox after being the first pitcher in MLB history to win thefinal game of all three postseason series.

Lowe, now with the Cleveland Indians, played for the Red Sox from 1997-2004.
