Tobias Harris' reported trade to Sixers impacts Celtics on two fronts

The Philadelphia 76ers have made their big move entering the Eastern Conference playoff push.

The Sixers and Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a blockbuster trade that will send All-Star forward Tobias Harris and two other players to Philly, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported early Wednesday morning.

Here are the full terms of the deal, per Woj:

SIXERS GET
Tobias Harris
Boban Marjanovic
Mike Scott

CLIPPERS GET
Landry Shamet
Wilson Chandler
Mike Muscala
2020 first-round pick
2021 first-round pick (unprotected, via Miami)
2021 second-round pick
2023 second-round pick (via Detroit)

The Sixers paid a hefty price to land Harris, but they have big plans for the 26-year-old forward, according to Wojnarowski.

Harris is averaging what would be career highs in points per game (20.9) and rebounds per game (7.9) and played a significant role in the Clippers' hot start to the 2018-19 season.

The Long Island native gives Philly another legitimate weapon, but at the cost of some depth, as Shamet, Chandler and Muscala all averaged more than 20 minutes per game off the Sixers' bench.

Philly currently is the No. 5 seed in the East but is just one game behind the No. 3 seed Celtics and will aim to leapfrog Boston with Harris in tow.

This deal also directly impacts the Celtics in the 2019 NBA Draft, as they own the Clippers' first-round pick, protected for a top-14 selection. Boston will hope L.A. falters without Harris but doesn't drop into the NBA Draft Lottery, as the pick then would convey to the 2020 draft.

The Clippers currently are eighth in the Western Conference would have the No. 18 pick in the 2019 draft if the season ended today.
