Starting rotations set for opening games of World Series

The Red Sox-Dodgers World Series is slated to begin on Tuesday night, and on Monday we were given a look at the starting rotation by both team's managers.

The Game 1 starters were named a few days ago, with each team sending its ace to the mound: Chris Sale and Clayton Kershaw.

Managers Alex Cora and Dave Roberts revealed on Monday who they planned to start for the next few games, with little surprises.

In Game 2, the Sox are going with David Price, who looks to build upon his first postseason win, a series-clinching Game 5 victory in Houston. Cora will then go with Nathan Eovaldi or Rick Porcello for the next two games. Cora also noted that Sandy Leon would be catching for Sale in Game 1, even though Christian Vazquez had caught for the majority of the Houston series.

Meanwhile the Dodgers, will follow Kershaw with Hyun-Jin Ryu in Game 2 and Walker Buehler when the series shifts to Los Angeles for Game 3 Friday night.

These are far from set in stone, as both managers have been notorious this postseason for their aggressive use of the bullpen, as well as using their starters late in games for an inning.

For now, all we're guaranteed is a Sale-Kershaw duel in Game 1. Not too shabby.
