South Carolina receiver Deebo Samuel met with the Patriots and coach Bill Belichick earlier this week and perhaps got the impression that he'll be back in Foxboro soon.
At least that's how sounded on his Instagram story:
Samuel told the NFL Network that he got along great with "Billy" on his visit. The 5-foot-11, 214-pound receiver and return specialist is projected as a potential second-round option. With the Gamecocks last year, he caught 62 passes for 882 yards and 11 touchdowns, all career-highs.
