If you want to see the Red Sox' top prospects in action, Portland will be the place to be this year.

The Sea Dogs announced their roster to open the 2019 season, which includes eight of Baseball America's top-30 Sox prospects. Here are the notables, along with their Baseball America rankings:

No. 1: Bobby Dalbec, 3B
No. 3: Darwinzon Hernandez, LHP
No. 7: Tanner Houck, RHP
No. 10: C.J. Chatham, SS
No. 11: Durbin Feltman, RHP
No. 18: Denyi Reyes, RHP
No. 23: Zach Schellenger, RHP
No. 29: Brett Netzer, 2B

Already on the Red Sox' 40-man roster are Hernandez and Reyes. If Boston's bullpen struggles later on in the season, Hernandez can be expected to join the big-league club along with Feltman, who impressed during spring training.

Portland begins its season Thursday vs. the Reading Fightin Phils.
