The Carl Soderberg experiment has come to an end in Boston, as the Bruins have decided not to bring back the center after two seasons. 


While it seems everybody is writing their own played-out “to-do” lists for new Bruins general manager Don Sweeney in his first few days on the job, there remains one task atop his list.


Some of the names are obvious, of course. 


HARTFORD – It wasn’t a perfect playoff series for Ryan Spooner by any means, but the speedy, skilled center ended it with a personal flourish.


There may have been contention between Claude Julien and his bosses as last season unfolded, but it didn't appear to be a rift between the coach and his players.
