It's been 20 years -- yes, twenty -- since Nomar Garciaparra put on one of the best performances in Red Sox history. On this day in 1999, the beloved shortstop lit up the Mariners for three home runs (two grand slams) and 10 runs batted in. No Sox player has notched 10 RBI since.

1999 ended up being one of the best seasons of Garciaparra's storied career. He hit .357 with 27 homers, 104 RBI and a whopping 1.022 OPS.
