NFL commissioner Roger Goodell attending Patriots-Chiefs AFC title game

Sunday's epic AFC Championship Game matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots at Arrowhead Stadium is going to draw quite a crowd, and among the people in attendance will be NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Goodell will be in the house to watch the Patriots and Chiefs square off with a berth to Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta on the line. Check out a video of him walking into the stadium in the tweet below:

The commissioner has seen many Patriots playoff games, including five Super Bowls, where he has handed the Lombardi Trophy to Pats owner Robert Kraft twice.

Goodell, however, is not a popular figure in New England given his role in the Deflategate controversy a few years ago that resulted in, among other punishments, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady being suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season.

The Patriots seem to be more fired up than usual going into this AFC Championship Game, and perhaps Goodell's presence at Arrowhead Stadium will provide even more motivation for Brady and Co.
