Frank Jobe, a pioneer of sports medicine who was the first to perform an elbow surgery that resurrected the careers of countless major league pitchers, has died. He was 88.


In the most lucrative deal ever for a pitcher, the Los Angeles Dodgers and two-time NL Cy Young Award winner Clayton Kershaw agree to a seven-year, $215 million deal.
