The status of several Patriots players is becoming clear heading into training camp.

According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, offensive lineman Marcus Cannon is expected to be ready for training camp. He underwent season-ending ankle surgery in 2017 with sights set towards returning for training camp.

Less than an hour after the reports of Malcolm Mitchell being shopped by the Pats, Field Yates of ESPN reported wide receiver Kenny Britt will start camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Safety Nate Ebner, cornerback Cyrus Jones, and cornerback Jonathan Jones will all also start camp on the PUP.

Runningback Brandon Bolden will also begin camp on the non-football related illness list.
