Guyton: ‘I'm not a Patriot no more'

Gary Guyton was virtually a non-person at the end of last season in New England, so he's more than happy to be in Miami now.

"Whatever happened in New England just happened, so I just moved on," said the 26-year-old linebacker.

Guyton made his last start for the Pats in Week 12. He made his last tackle for the team on Dec. 4 against the Colts, recording zeroes across the board in all defensive statistical categories in his last six games (including playoffs).

But he appreciated what he learned in New England.

"Really, just how to be professional and how to play the game, so I learned a lot when I was there," he said. "I had a good time there. Bill (Belichick) is a great coach. He did a good job bringing me up. So just being able to learn the game and learn everything I can do from the game of football."

And he wants to take those lessons to his new job.

"At the end of the day, it is going to be what its going to be, so things happen," he said. "Im not a Patriot no more. Now, Im a Dolphin.
