Sure, the Red Sox are off to a great start in the 2018 World Series. A 2-0 lead after two games, what could be better?

Apparently, Google thinks this year's series is best two-out-of-three.

Earlier Friday, when you Googled "Red Sox championship"s or "Red Sox World Series" the results showed a list of Sox championships. All nine of them, the latest in 2018.

Wait, what?

The error has since been fixed, but the search-engine giant was apparently a little quick on the trigger to hand the Boston another championship.

Relax Dodgers fans - and the rest of those envious outside Red Sox Nation. For the record, it's eight World Series titles. The last one in 2013.  For now.

Still, the Sox are halfway to wrapping up another. Game 3 is tonight in Los Angeles. Good to know Google is prepared.
