In this week's episode of "The Baseball Show" podcast, CSNNE.com Insider Sean McAdam sat down with former Red Sox GM and current Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations for the Baltimore Orioles Dan Duquette to discuss an array of topics, including the highly comptetive American League East. Duquette also reflects back on how he feels about the 2004 World Series Championship for the Red Sox, a team he had a large part in building during his tenure as General Manager. Duquette was replaced by Theo Epstein following the 2003 season, but many of the players remained to serve giant roles on the 2004 team. The Western Mass. native also talks about being one of the early adopters of the analytics movement that is so prevalent in today's game.

Also during this podcast, CSN reporter Trenni Kusnierek joins McAdam to talk about the upcoming MLB Draft, and whether Dave Dombrowski and the Red Sox should look long and hard at drafting a college pitcher with the minor league system lacking in arms that are ready to contribute in the rotation or bullpen.
